Dubai is a land of the best beaches in the UAE. The long stretches of sand in Dubai can be enjoyed at no cost whatsoever or for a minimal charge. The must haves of every beach like lifeguards, clean sand, showers and changing rooms are ever present at all the beaches of Dubai.
Jumeriah Beach – Jumeirah Beach is a white sand beach that is located and named after the Jumeirah district of Dubai, on the coast of the Persian Gulf. It stretches along the coast south of the city’s historic district to the junction with The Palm Jumeirah and terminates between the southern end of the Jumeirah Beach Residence (adjacent to the Dubai Marina district) and the port facilities at Jebel Ali. The beach and its frontage feature large hotels, resorts, and housing developments, including the Burj Al Arab (Arab Tower) hotel, Wild Wadi Water Park, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, and the old-style MadinatJumeirah, a hotel and shopping complex.
Burj Beach – Burj Beach is a popular beach with vast sandy stretch, and is quite popular among sport lovers. Offering panoramic view of the Burj al Arab, the Burj Beach is another famous beach with a huge sandy stretch. It has numerous volleyball nets and large open area for playing various sports and the beach is very popular amidst sports lovers.
Jebel Ali Beach – Located near the Jebel Ali Beach Resort, this beach although not so popular, is a good place to go for kite surfing with a number of kite surfers often clustered together at the place. Being a bit far from the city, it can be fun exploring the beach, which makes the trip a nice adventure expedition. The Jebel Ali Beach has plenty of waterfront construction happening around the place, and hence the beach is said to be getting smaller. It is also a great camping spot, but, if you plan to taken an exploratory trip there, check out the lay of the land
before you pack up for that camping trip.If you are planning an overnight camping, then it is better to take prior permission from the authorities.
Kite Beach – Kite surfers and spectators unite at the popular and well-named Kite Beach, situated across the way from the Al Manara Road Junction. With watersport operators available along the sand, you can rent equipment and test your skills against the emerald waters of the Arabian Gulf. Afternoons are best for those who want to challenge the elements, as that’s when the wind picks up and the waves follow suit.
Ghantoot Beach – Ghantoot beach is located along the Sheikh Zayed Road towards Abu Dhabi, and you can find it if you keep looking for the Ghantoot exit (399). There will be signs for the Al Jazira Golden Tulip Hotel, and it is not difficult to notice the gates for Ghantoot Beach. Located along this 7km stretch of calm and clear blue waters is the Golden Tulip Hotel, beside the popular Ghantoot Racing and Polo Club.

Parasailing – Parasailing, also known as parascending, is a recreational activity where a person (two or three people may also ride at the same time) is towed behind a vehicle (usually a boat) while attached to a parachute. The boat then drives off, carrying the parascender into the air. The parascender has little or no control over the parachute. There are 5 parts of a parasail. The harness attaches the pilot to the parasail, which is connected to the boat, or speeding form of transportation by the tow rope. The activity is primarily an amusement ride, not to be confused with the sport of paragliding.
